So this is my choice for the entry to I ♥ Faces Photo Challenge for this week. The only guideline was pic your favorite photo from this summer. This was the end to our summer as Da'Gorgeouses started Kindergarten this year. I was so excited to see the enthusiasm with which they started that first day of school!! Can't believe my micro-preemies have already been in school a full 6 weeks!!

I know the photos from the iPod touch aren't the best quality, but I've got to say I really love the freedom of having a camera with me that I can just snap away with. I'm also LOVING the fact that I shoot on manual mode (ALMOST all of the time) with my Rebel! Thanks Tracy for all of the guidance these last few years---YOU ROCK!!

You may have seen this floating around the internet this week. It is such a neat idea!

I saw this while blog hopping just after the New Year began & wanted to do this, but was always too late. Well, Kristal over at Knit1Kids4 posted this on her site & the thought of getting something hand knitted was enough to encourage me to get on board! :)

So if you would like something handmade by me (and so far I'm not sure what you'll get from me, but I'm thinking a photograph?---one taken with my DSLR, not my iPod touch!), go ahead and leave me a comment and I'll send something out to the first three people. We happened to be at an outdoor Farmer's Market &, my Gorgeous#2 was just having a great time. This was one of many that I shot with my camera at my hip---LOL! I just so happened to have captured her head (there were many others where she is headless or only a small portion of her was captured).

Processing includes AutoFix exposure on PSE8, and an action named Warm Me Up run twice (I think it's from M4H). I also rounded the corners using CoffeeShop's Free rounded edges action. :)

You know that question, the one where you're asked to pick your least favorite body part?

Well...this would be mine (at least the one I can show you).

But, you know what? Now that I'm thinking about it,

my feet might not be what I consider my "prettiest" physical attribute,

but they sure do work hard getting me where I need to go, helping me

chase 2 not-so-little ones and all in all really doing their job.

I volunteered to teach a photography semester long elective course to MS & HS students at my school, knowing good & well that I am no where near qualified enough to do this---but also knowing that I'm the type that if I have to teach it I will LEARN it & do the very best job I possibly can. When the choice is nothing over something, I figure at least they'll get something out of it! Many a late night of mine has recently been spent working on curriculum & most of the time I'm running just a step ahead of them.
